Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) Q: Is there a minimum number of days required for rental? A: No. However, there is a $50 minimum rental charge for all orders. Also, there is a 3-day minimum rental charge for FULL-SIZED cribs. Delivery and pick-up is free to peninsula cities (Monterey, Carmel, Pebble Beach, Seaside, Del Rey Oaks, and Marina) . Q: Can you deliver to the airport? A: We deliver car seats to the car rental agencies located at the Monterey Airport. We cannot deliver other equipment directly to the airport due to FAA security policies, however, we can make special arrangements with you to accommodate your needs if you are traveling beyond Monterey. Q: Do you install car seats? A: No. We are not authorized to install car seats. A: No. In order to keep up the highest service levels, we must deliver the items ourselves. Q: When does the rental term begin? A: On the day your items are delivered. Our delivery and pick-up hours are between 2PM-5PM. Q: What if I am not satisfied with my order? A: If there is something you are not happy with, we will replace the item as soon as possible so that you can continue to enjoy your visit to Monterey. Q: What is the payment process? A: We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and cash. A credit card is required to hold the reservation. If paying by credit card, the card will be charged 48 hours prior to delivery. Cash is also accepted, however, payment must be received prior to delivery. Q: How far in advance should I make a reservation? A: Your order is subject to equipment availability. It is best to make your reservation as early as possible. Please keep in mind that summer and winter are busy tourism seasons in Monterey. Orders placed within 48 hours of scheduled delivery date should be called in. Q: Can I pay with cash or a check? A: We do not accept checks, although we do accept cash. However, we still need a valid credit card number to hold the reservation until the equipment is returned. Q: Are your products safe and clean? A: Safety is our number one concern. Tiny Traveler- Monterey Bay seeks out Juvenile Product Manufacturer Association (JPMA) certified products. We register every product with the manufacturer and are kept notified of all equipment recalls. We sanitize our products after every use and check them for safety accordingly. Q: Do you deliver to cities outside Monterey County? A: Yes. We deliver to the entire Central Coast including the cities of Gilroy, Santa Cruz, Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo- please call for an estimate. |
